In the 1930’s Ukrainian settlers arrived in the area around Nipawin in search of fertile land but it took a number of years to organize a parish in town. The Ukrainian community purchases an old protestant church in 1956 and within a decade this building had been outgrown. The present church of All Saints was completed in 1969 and has been lovingly cared for an embellished in the years since then. The exterior domes were added in 1986 and a lovely iconostasis was installed in 1999.
Nipawin is pastorally cared for by clergy from the parish of St. George at Prince Albert.
