Fr. Jeffrey Stephaniuk
Ukrainian settlers first arrived in this area in 1926, and held services in their homes and in the local Roman Catholic Church until a church could be acquired. The first church of Ss. Peter and Paul was purchased from the local Roman Catholic community and moved onto the present churchyard in the 1930s. By 1952, the parish had outgrown this building. It was sold to the new parish in Watson (now closed) for their use and a beautiful new church was built on the site. Bishop Andrew Roborecki blessed this church on June 7, 1958.
The parish is served by clergy from Wynyard.
