Fr. Ivan Simko
The church of Ss. Vladimir and Olga was built in Invermay in 1953 and blessed by Bishop Andrew Roborecki in 1957. It was built through the dedicated labour and generous donations of its parishioners under the foremanship of Michael Hrywka of Tadmore.
The first Ukrainian settlers arrived in this area in 1912 and established a parish to the south of town that they named Kulikiw after their home village in Ukraine. This church was eventually amalgamated into the newly constructed church at Invermay.
Ss. Vladimir and Olga is lovingly cared for by its congregation. It is served by clergy from Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Canora.
