Fr. Andre Lalach
Ukrainian settlement to this area began in 1904 and up until the 1940s Ukrainians in this area worshiped at Borschiv to the southwest, Havryliuky to the east, and Bodnari to the north. The church of St. John the Theologian was built in 1945 and blessed a decade later by Bishop Andrew Roborecki. It was decorated in 1951 by Theodore Baran and retains its beautiful interior. The church sits on a hill on the edge of the village and is beautifully cared for by its devoted congregation.
Divine Liturgy is celebrated regularly in Prud’homme throughout the year.
The parish is cared for by the parish of Dormition in Saskatoon.
