History

The church of All Saints in North Battleford was built in 1953 and blessed that year by Bishop Andrew Roborecki. Despite Ukrainian settlement in the city beginning in the mid 1920s, it took until after World War II to build enough momentum to construct a church. Until this time, the people met for Divine Liturgy in the Ukrainian National Home Hall. Services were provided by clergy from Hafford until North Battleford was assigned its own resident priest in 1949.
The present church is dominated by an enormous dome and is beautifully decorated.
Alongside Holy Eucharist in Hafford, All Saints Church in North Battleford is the seat of the North Battleford & Hafford Pastoral District. Affiliated parishes of North Battleford are Alticane, Radisson, and Whitkow and those of Hafford are Albertown, Orolow, Krydor, Speers, and Uhrynow.
