Fr. Vasyl Tymishak
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary began as a remodeled military chapel moved into Moose Jaw from Mossbank. This structure was replaced in 1964 with the present structure which was decorated by the artist Theodore Baran.
Ukrainians started to arrive in the area in 1910 and were served primarily by the Redemptorists until a resident priest was assigned by the eparchy in 1948.
At present, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Moose Jaw is served by clergy from St. Athanasius in Regina.
