The first church of Ss. Peter and Paul was built in 1916 and blessed by Blessed Bishop Nykyta Budka in 1917. Settlement in this area had begun in 1909 and the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated in 1914. In 1964 the community decided to build a larger structure which was blessed in 1969 by Bishop Andrew Roborecki.

The church of Ss Peter and Paul in Hodgeville is served by clergy from St. Athanasius in Regina.
