Fr. Andre Lalach
The first church of Ss. Peter and Paul at Bodnari was built in 1906 near what is still the parish cemetery. This early building was made of logs and clay and served the community well until 1936. It was in this year that the present church was built on a more accessible portion of the site, alongside what is now Highway 767. This church was blessed in 1939 by Bishop Neil Savaryn.
The church of Ss. Peter and Paul is lovingly cared for by its parishioners and has been registered as an historic site. Divine Liturgy is celebrated regularly in Bodnari during the summer months.
The parish is cared for by the parish of Dormition in Saskatoon.
