Holy Eucharist parish in Foam Lake purchased their first church building from the Ukrainian community in Holar in 1948 but it didn’t take long for the new parish community to outgrow this building. The decision was made in the early 1960s to build a new church. This was completed in 1964 and blessed by Bishop Andrew Roborecki in 1967.
Holy Eucharist church is served weekly by clergy from Wynyard. It also hosts the local Roman Catholic Community of Christ the King.
