History

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1926 and was visited that same year by Blessed Bishop Nykyta Budka. Prior to the construction of the church, the faithful gathered for worship in the local schoolhouse. In 2025, the parish community assembled to celebrate its centenary, with Bishop Michael Smolinski, C.Ss.R., in attendance.

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Glentworth is served by clergy from St. Athanasius in Regina.
