The Parish of the Holy Apostles Ss. Peter and Paul in Montmartre was established in 1950 by twenty-four founding members who moved into the town from the neighbouring countryside. The church building was constructed in 1952 and blessed in 1972 by Bishop Andrew Roborecki. Prior to the establishment of this parish, local Ukrainian Catholics traveled to Candiac for Divine Liturgy. The church is beautifully maintained and decorated by its devoted congregation.
The Church of the Holy Apostles Ss. Peter and Paul in Montmartre is served by clergy from St. Basil’s Church in Regina.
