Fr. Basil Malowany
The church at Whitesand was built in 1913 on a treed property donated by Vasyl Shpyley. Beginning that same year, the area began to receive regular pastoral attention from the Redemptorist Fathers in Yorkton. The present church was constructed in 1937 to accommodate the growing population.
The parish of Whitesand continues to be cared for by clergy from Our Lady of Perpetual Help (St. Mary’s) in Yorkton.
